BVI is looking to hire a part-time Marketing & Communications Specialist. This position is responsible for creating and distributing positive branding messages for BVI/NEA/RRC through strategic use of graphics, logos, and other promotional products.
Principal Accountabilities:
Collaborates with PR firm to develop branding messages, maintains the BVI/NEA/RRC website and manages content.
Drafts and proposes communications campaigns, which may include social and online media, print media, direct mail, and other multimedia. Identifies target customers and markets.
Collects and compiles Google analytics in an easily reviewed and understood format for review by BVI management and leadership. Collects and maintains records required to track, review, and modify performance of marketing initiatives.
Collaborates with BVI admin on bi-weekly email blast to retirees.
Maintains Currents of Change website creating new material annually. Schedules vendor table and presentations at TCSS and ALCSS conferences. Works with marketing firm to maintain and promote website and Facebook page.
Minimum Requirements:
Education – Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field required.
Experience – One to three years of related experience in business, promotional sales, customer service, or related field preferred.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities – Excellent verbal and written communications skills; strong interpersonal, customer service and organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Ability to communicate with multiple levels of employees and management. Proficient with Microsoft Office-Suite or related software.
