Every October, TVA joins utilities across the country to celebrate Public Power Week – a time to recognize the people and partnerships that keep the lights glowing, the river flowing and the Valley growing.
Public power is more than delivering electricity – it’s a mission. It means putting people before profits, delivering reliable, low-cost energy and reinvesting in the communities we serve. It’s about protecting our natural resources, supporting economic growth and showing up when our neighbors need us most.
And it all starts with you.
Whether you’re in the field, at a plant, working on a jobsite or behind a screen – your work and your story matter. You are the reason public power works.
Share your TVA story
This Public Power Week, we want to hear from you. What does public power mean to you? What makes you proud to be part of TVA’s mission of service?
Take a moment to share your story using this short form. Over the next several months, we will feature some of your stories on TVA Today. (A member of TVA’s Communications team will reach out to you before your story is shared.)
Become a Brand Ambassador
Do your friends and family ask you about your work at TVA? Do you want to get better at telling your TVA story? Join an upcoming Brand Immersion class. These classes are fun, interactive sessions that help you talk about TVA’s impact with confidence and clarity.
Whether you’re chatting with friends, speaking to your child’s class, or mentoring a new hire, Brand Immersion gives you the tools to serve as a powerful ambassador for public power.
