TVA hosts U.S. Secretary of Labor

On Wednesday, Jan. 21, TVA welcomed U.S. Secretary of Labor Lori Chavez-DeRemer and her team to the Cumberland Fossil and Gas facilities. CEO Don Moul and Chief Administrative and Human Resources Officer Will Trumm led the visit, highlighting TVA’s commitment to innovation, workforce development and powering America’s energy future.

The visit underscored TVA’s alignment with national priorities to unlock the potential of artificial intelligence, strengthen the American workforce and advance energy solutions for the nation. Employees and guests experienced an immersive AI video presentation, toured the Cumberland Fossil site and engaged in meaningful conversations with union leaders and Microsoft executives.
