Do you love traveling in your RV and meeting new people? Here’s your chance to enjoy a scenic getaway with free perks while giving back to the Tennessee Valley!

 

 

TVA is looking for enthusiastic retiree volunteers to help welcome guests at the Kentucky Dam Visitor Center during the spring, summer, and fall seasons.

What’s in It for You?

As a volunteer, you’ll receive:

  • A free campsite with full hookups at Cypress Lakes RV Park. Enjoy the beauty of Kentucky while you stay!
  • Generous travel perks – Get reimbursed $2.19 per mile for your RV trip to and from the campground, plus 76 cents per mile for local travel during your stay.
  • Meal allowance – Enjoy $18 per meal, per person, three times a day.

What Will You Do?

Your role is simple but meaningful, greet and assist visitors at the Kentucky Dam Visitor Center during a 4-hour shift each day. We provide all the training, so all you need to bring is your friendly personality!

When Can You Volunteer?

  • Two-week volunteer slots are available from April through October.
  • Arrival: Sundays | Volunteer shifts start: Mondays
  • Departure: Sundays at 1 PM (two weeks later)
