This was a part of the Kids Fish Free day sponsored by Tennessee Valley Authority and the Knoxville Chapter of the TVA Retirees Association, Bicentennial Volunteers, Inc. and the Clinch River Chapter of Trout Unlimited.

Home Uplift

TVA’s EnergyRight Home Uplift program achieved a significant milestone this year, upgrading its 6,000th home.

Since 2018, Home Uplift has been changing lives. Home Uplift provides participating homeowners an average of $10,000 each in free home energy upgrades, including HVAC units, attic and wall insulation, duct sealing, electric water heaters and more.

Without the help of community partner and local power company partners, TVA’s Home Uplift program would not be possible.

TVA’s Home Uplift program has been improving quality of life all across the Valley region.

TVA’s Serves during Helene

In the aftermath of Helene, many communities in the East region faced overwhelming challenges. For TVA, this meant addressing the needs of affected employees and customers but also rallying our TVA family to make a positive impact in recovery efforts, fostering a sense of unity and support.

On land and in the air, TVA employees stepped into to serve those impacted by Helene.

Even during difficult times, employees continued to live out TVA’s mission of service.
