Temporary Contract Work at TVA
Start Date: As soon as possible
Duration: Approx. 12 months, may be extended
Location: Chattanooga Office Complex
Hours: 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday
Pay: Approx. $30 to $38 per hour, depending on experience

Prepare written communication plans and materials, including emails to send to impacted users, training materials, executive briefings, one-page information sheets and formal communication plans that are provided to corporate communications for review and implementation.
Qualifications and skills needed
— Bachelor’s degree in the field of communications or the arts and sciences from an accredited college or university with courses in technical writing or equivalent in training and experience.
— Six to twelve years of related experience performing technical writing, research, and editing functions to prepare reports, procedures, policies, and manuals.
— Must have experience with information gathering. This includes interviewing a variety of subject matter experts, including engineers, technical support personnel, and/or professional services personnel.
— Must be able to work closely with people and work under pressure. Travel as required.
— U.S. citizenship required. Must be able to obtain sensitive clearance.
You must be a TVA retiree or former employee to perform contract work through BVI.
In addition, you must be in compliance with TVA’s Contractor Return Restrictions.
