If you are a U.S. citizen age 62 or older, you are eligible to purchase a lifetime “Senior Pass” for $10. The pass is issued by the National Park Service, and serves as your admission ticket to more than 2,000 national parks and other federal recreation sites.
What’s more, the Senior Pass covers you and the passengers in your personal vehicle, regardless of their age. The pass also provides discounts on fees for camping, boating and other amenities at participating federal sites. For complete information, visit the National Park Service webpage for their “America the Beautiful” Pass Series as well as the Senior Pass webpage.
TVA honors the Senior Pass and gives pass holders a 50% discount on camping fees. The TVA discount is also available to those who hold the National Park Service’s Access Pass, Golden Age Passport or Golden Access Passport. Details are shown on TVA’s “Camping and Recreation Areas” webpage.
